Vertical Extreme Skydiving,
where Skydivers in Alberta go.
Your Tandem Skydive starts with 1/2 hour of ground preparation. The instructor wears special equipment built to take 2 people skydiving, and you wear a harness that attaches to the instructor's equipment at the shoulders and at the hips. You are very secure! The airplane ride to 10,000 ft. or 11,000 ft** takes 20 minutes. Then you free fall out of the plane for an amazing 45- 52 seconds at 120 mph. The instructor opens the main parachute at about 4000 feet. To finish your skydiving experience, you help fly the parachute back to the landing area. This lasts 4-5 minutes. The Tandem skydive requires a time commitment of 1- 3 hours.
Please do feel free to spend the day watching the jumping.

MORE FREE FALL or MORE FLIGHT TIME
For an additional $20 your tandem can go to 11,000 feet above the ground. This height can be used as several seconds of extra free fall OR have the parachute opened higher than normal and enjoy the canopy flight for two- three minutes extra.
Will I get some proof that I jumped?
VES will provide you with a colorful training record to record the details of your skydive. We also provide you with a First Jump Certificate from the Canadian Sport Paracuting Assocition.
How do I continue in the sport of SKYDIVING?
By doing more SKYDIVES!
VES offers "tandem assisted freefall training" and "solo" jump training to individuals who commit to becoming a skydiver. We train jumpers to meet or exceeds the standards of the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association. (please see the about us section)
We initially teach freefall skills in a progressive way in the tandem environment.
The program continues with two tandem jumps. On the first working jump you will;
- refine how you fall,
- check the altimeter(several times),
- practice opening the parachute,
- open the parachute.
On the second working dive you will:
- refine how you fall,
- check the altimeter(several times),
- perform free fall turns
- open the parachute.
On both dives there are tasks for you to perform under canopy.
The there are several advantages to learning how to skydive this way: you can stay relaxed and learn more, the instructor provides feedback in freefall & under canopy, you are falling at full speed.
At this point, you have displayed that you have the ability to Skydive Solo and we transition you onto Solo Student gear after a four-five hour ground school. Your free fall training continues after some basic solo skill are displayed.
Yes ...we jump with TWO parachute.
One is named Icarus the other is named Dadalus.
It's alway better when you go with the best!
